Board of Trustees

The ultimate authority for the administration of the University is vested in the Board of Trustees. The principal role of the trustees is to preserve and protect the mission of the institution whose assets, operations and reputation they hold in trust. The charter of the University calls for a self-perpetuating board of up to 35 members. The first meeting of the Board of Trustees was December 17, 1918, with Bishop Charles E. McDonnell, D.D., presiding.
